behaviours by the teaching of a process that helps to understand others and to consider multiculturality and multiethnicity of modern societies.

Interpersonal communication is crucial in establishing acceptance among students.  Teachers should promote activities that encourage openness and friendship within the group. Therefore students can communicate and interact with each other thus breeding familiarity. Classmate information gathering activities are quite helpful for this purpose and teachers should seize the chance to make full use of these activities. Teachers should institute the value of being one with the group in fulfilling a task. To highlight the importance of cooperation and concern over students own learning progress and that of their peers, cooperative tasks should be frequently conducted. Activities like problem-solving can engage students in discussions and negotiations, which could pave way for acceptance and tolerance of rules and norms that hinders communication among students. In addition, if violation happens, students will reflect on their behaviours actively. Teachers should give opportunities for other roles to emerge through role-play, dramas, and other activities, which showcase students’ talents and personalities. Thus, identifying and assigning roles like class ‘princess’ and ‘Hollywood star’ is possible and enjoyable for the whole class, especially for those who assume the roles. This atmosphere can lead to the increase of learners’ motivation which can enhance the learning process.

5.Teaching EAP to Individual students

Teaching EAP or ESP to individual student offers the English teacher the best place where he or she can best present the teaching knowledge he or she has in full. Individual teaching environment creates full opportunity for the student and the teacher to interact with one another that gives saturation of the language in real situation. As far as I am concern, this is the type of teaching career I want to undertake though it’s very hard to find individual EAP/ESP students. Teaching one to one is a challenge. However, it can be very rewarding for both teacher and student. It allows the teacher to develop a closer relationship with the student than with larger groups. It allows the teacher to develop material specifically geared towards that student's interests.

Obviously, the teacher needs to find out what the student's specific goals are. Does the student want to become more proficient overall or does the student have a specific area on which he/she wishes to focus? One to one often stresses conversation and as such, the most important thing the teacher can do is help the student feel comfortable speaking the language. In my experience, the student needs encouragement to improve his/her self-confidence.

In individual classroom, the teacher becomes the one who schedules the time table, writes lesson plans, arranges class teaching materials and gives instruction and assessment to students, and he or she is all in all so that the teacher has ample time to make use of teaching methodology(ies) whereas taking a position at a school or university will make the teacher follows a limited schedule, writes lesson plans that suit school English text book, and the teacher may not have time to make use of the methods and activities that he or she wants to apply in real teaching English in the classroom. It's essential to have a discussion with the student about his/her purposes. A 'needs analysis' form is extremely helpful. It’s obvious that one-to-one teaching can
