Introduction to Christian Development International Ministry

In 1996, the desire of doing mission work among different communities in Myanmar was born in the heart of Professor Dr. David Ngin Sian Pau. At that time, he was studying and working at the same time in Madras. A few months before the completion his studies at the University of Madras in 1997, Dr.David Ngin Sian Pau planned to start an organization that could do something good for the Lord, and humanity in Myanmar and around the world. He was just a university    student, and he also knew starting a ministry would cost him a lot of money.

Knowing that God helps those who help themselves, he decided to run The New Jerusalem Mission while teaching English to some individual students in Bangkok, Thailand in the year 2000. Unfortunately, because of the unsuccessful application for visa to go to Israel and Canada, his vision was forced to change, and the name of the New Jerusalem Mission became Christian Development International Ministry (CDIM) since then.

Since its inception, Rev.Dr.Samuel Nang Khan Do was chosen to be Honorary President of Christian Development International Ministry. Based on Psalm 112:9, that says, "They have distributed freely, they have given to the poor; their righteousness endures forever; their horn is exalted in honor.", Christian Development International Ministry has been carrying out the work according to its vision and purposes. Dr. David Ngin Sian Pau is the director of this ministry. He was born in Thaangkaai Suangpi village, Tedim Township, Chin State in Western part of Burma. His contact email is cdimdirector@ciuac.org.

Christian Development International Ministry is a parachurch organization. It is wholly stand alone, interdenominational, ecumenical and charitable. The General Director is fully authorized to receive and accept gifts, donations, opportunities or supports in terms of finance, property and materials directly from the giving organization or personal whether it is governmental, non governmental, or private, and he is responsible for re-sharing all the opportunities and gifts to those who are in need suitably.
